Hellooo!

Okay...I am still here! I am vacationing in my own town for the moment! The weather is gorgeous anfd I have been out bikeriding and walking and DIETING! Finally gettting into shape! We are sworking on the bus this weekend. She will not start..but I think it is something easy to fix. At least it happened BEfore I left. Sorry I can't get round to visiting you all. I hope to have good news to tell you when next we meet...

Hooty HOooo!!!!WEll, Still here in SouthCarolina. A bit of a mechanical glitch. All is well though and I am taking it one day at a time. These old buses have problems and I realize it ain't gonna be easy breezy sometimes! I must say it feels so good to NOT be working in the market and to be out of my house and rid of tons of junk! I will keep you posted and hope i am not boring you with chatter and no photos! ha! the other night we went out to the beach and listened to Reggae ...drank Red stripe , and it felt like we were in Jamaica,Mon! ..My Market friends had the coolest going away party for me at OutBack. THey really did it up ! They made up a road Trip game that we all played. it was hilarious. The cards drawn by roll of dice were all about things I might encounter along the way! Some really funny scenarios. Plus a box full of gas money! boy, Am I ever gonna need that! Love ya and will return to let you know more!

UPDATE!

Hello! I am using the computer at the library. It is crazy not having access online. This is just a quick update. I am waiting on parts for the bus and hope to be on the road by Sunday 5/11. All is well with me... just waiting! It is so hard not having access to a computer, still trying to find a laptop. More later!

May Day....!

THank you all for your concern! THank Goodness My Mother is Okay....it was a stroke but a small one with no permanent damage, I talked to her on the phone yesterday. So, I don't have to go to NC(my brother is there) right away. I am missing visiting you all! waaaa! Having withdrawals!

I came over tonight to clean the empty house and use my computer one last time..Hal-ina has served me well for almost 3 years and now it's over. I met all my Glitteristas on this PC... found tons of information ,, spent hours upon hours with her. Lately she has shown her age and has broken down. I can barely get online. So tonight , she goes to the big Kahuna in Cyber Heaven. Long may she run among all the Geeks who live there. It may be a few days before you hear from me again. My brother just called and my Mom was rushed to the hospital..possibly a massive stroke. I will be on my way to North Carolina in the morning. I will have Lisa OceanDreamer post here for me to let you know what is happening. Remember...This too will pass...........

Hello all my friends! You have been with me through all kinds of weather..heh heh. Now the winds of change are blowing ... I have changed the name of my blog from Art and Soul ( I sure haven't done any art lately!) to The Gypsy Chronicles. My life will be different for a while....This week is my last week in the Market. Yesterday I sold my old Volvo and Today I will be moving out and will be staying at a friend's for a couple of weeks...be fore the real adventure begins in the Gypsy Caravan. The bus is getting a final Once- over before the trip.. neeed a couple of things done to her. I am joining AAA , plus I have the VW Bus club across the USA to Portland, O! WOW! I am really doing this! It is the best thing I have done for my SELF. I will be living in my bus for a while...I don't know how long. I am going to TRY to sell some art along the way...and maybe play the tambourine for $$$ ha ha just kidding. Hopefully I will also have a laptop to keep up the blog and let ya'll know what is happening! Thank you ALL so much for visiting here and I hope that you will continue to do so! RE-BIRTHday!

My computer is giving me big problems...most of the time I can't even get on line. This may be the last post for a few days. I will be out of my house on Sunday! My new life begins! Wheeee!
